The interface is clunky and difficult to use (you really shouldn't have to dig around in the "settings" tab just to upload something), the site itself is ugly, and with all the silly extraneous features like "journals" and "deviant IDs" it almost seems to be less about art appreciation and discussion than just tooting your own horn/attention whoring. But that's just me. However, this is pretty much the only place I've found that dpesn't auto-resize large images, and since my artwork tends be large (800x800px or more), here I am!
